Cheshire

An Alderley Edge bedroom can take a full wall of doors without feeling furnished. We draw that wall, the dressing room behind it and the furniture between as one scheme, render it in your actual room, and make and fit all of it as one team.

Our work

Built, filmed, reviewed.

A passing glance at the work: films from fitting days, rooms as installed, and words we did not write ourselves. The full wall lives on the projects page.

The houses here

Built for
Cheshire’s rooms.

Bespoke only earns its name if it answers the actual housing stock. These are the rooms we draw for around Cheshire.

The Edwardian avenues

Alderley Edge, Bowdon and the older streets of Wilmslow keep their Edwardian scale: high ceilings, deep bays, principal bedrooms with room to breathe. The architecture sets the proportions and the furniture is drawn to them.

Executive new builds

The gated developments around Prestbury and Hale Barns hand over flat walls, tall ceilings and a principal suite waiting to be planned. The win is precision and interiors: runs that use every centimetre, planned down to the last drawer.

Barn conversions and village houses

Out towards Tarporley, Knutsford and the plain, the county turns to timber frames, vaulted ceilings and walls that have never once been straight. Furniture for rooms like these has to be drawn, not ordered.

The offer here

What we make
for Cheshire.

Four kinds of room, one workshop. Fitted wardrobes are what most people come asking for; the making covers the whole bedroom.

Walk-in wardrobes in Cheshire

The brief that carries the journey best. A spare bedroom in Wilmslow or Knutsford becomes a dressing room with island drawers and proper light, made complete in Birmingham and carried up finished.

Fitted wardrobes in Cheshire

Usually the anchor of a larger scheme: a full wall in the principal bedroom, drawn at one survey and fitted in one planned visit. One small alcove on its own is an honest no, and you hear it early rather than in a padded quote.

Bedroom furniture in Cheshire

As part of a suite, furniture earns its place on the van: bedsides, a dressing table, a chest, all in the same finish as the run so the room reads as one hand. On its own it is an honest no; as part of a scheme it completes the room.

Media walls in Cheshire

Added while the team is already in the house, a media wall shares the survey, the van and the fitting visit. Wired in the workshop, scribed on site, one trip for the whole scheme.

From the workshop

Ninety minutes, made to count.

South Cheshire is ninety minutes up the M6 from the workshop; the far side of the county a shade over two hours. A Cheshire project runs on planning rather than proximity: one survey trip, the making in Birmingham, one fitting visit with everything aboard.

The thresholdThe first conversation settles whether the scope carries the journey. Nobody books a survey to be sold to.
The surveyOne planned trip: the room measured completely, the brief agreed, the range given in the house.
The makingBetween visits everything happens in Birmingham: cutting, spraying, wiring, and checks by the fitters themselves.
FittingConsecutive days, one visit, our own team. The room is handed back finished.
The investment

What a Cheshire room costs.

The same published guide prices apply everywhere we work: fitted bedrooms from £6k, a principal bedroom with a walk-in dressing room between £20k and £40k, where most of our commissions sit, and whole-floor schemes £40k to £80k, all including VAT. The survey turns the guide into one itemised number.

No teaser numbers, and nothing invented to get through the door. If the honest range does not fit, you hear it at the survey, not after it.

Twenty seconds. A real range.
A real range, not a sales call. Your details go nowhere else.
How it works here

One team, from survey
to swept floor.

We design your room, render it photo-realistically before anything is cut, make it in our own 6,000 sq ft Birmingham workshop, and fit it ourselves. Nothing outsourced. Not one part of it.

The visit

A designer surveys your room in Cheshire: every wall, floor and ceiling. You get a real range, not a teaser number.

The render

You see the finished room in your own space before anything is cut. Change your mind freely at the drawing stage; it costs you nothing.

The room

Made in Birmingham, fitted by the people who made it, scribed to your walls until the joins disappear.

Asked around Cheshire

Local questions, straight answers.

Will you take my Cheshire project?

Tell us about the room and we will be straight with you. Principal suites, dressing rooms and multi-room schemes travel well; a single small alcove honestly may not. Either way the answer is straight, and it arrives within one working day.

What scope usually justifies the journey?

As a rule of thumb, principal-suite territory upwards: a wall of wardrobes with a dressing room behind it, or several rooms drawn as one scheme. Our published tiers put that at £20k to £40k and beyond, and the survey pins it to one itemised number.

Can you work with a barn conversion?

Yes, and they are some of our favourite rooms. Doors are cut to the pitch rather than a standard angle, runs are scribed around posts and trusses, and the awkward low end becomes deep drawers instead of dead space. Nothing modular survives contact with a barn.

Who actually fits the furniture in Cheshire?

The people who made it. Our fitters travel with the furniture and stay until the room is done; nothing is handed to a subcontractor at the county line.

How far into Cheshire do you go?

The whole county is on the same by-arrangement footing, Chester included. Distance only sharpens the threshold: the further the room, the more the scope has to carry. Send the postcode with the brief and the answer comes back honest, within one working day.

Where we fit

Across Cheshire and around it.

Fitted wardrobes, walk-in dressing rooms, bedroom furniture and media walls, surveyed and fitted in Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Prestbury, Knutsford, Hale Barns, Bowdon, Tarporley and Chester. One workshop makes all of it, and the same team fits it.

Your Cheshire
room, drawn properly.

Three questions, then a designer reads it personally and replies within one working day. With an honest view either way.
