Manchester

The briefs we take in Manchester are the ones drawn as one hand: the wardrobe wall, the dressing room behind it, the furniture between, one finish across all of it. Rooms like that are why the drawing stage exists.

Our work

Built, filmed, reviewed.

A passing glance at the work: films from fitting days, rooms as installed, and words we did not write ourselves. The full wall lives on the projects page.

The houses here

Built for
Manchester’s rooms.

Bespoke only earns its name if it answers the actual housing stock. These are the rooms we draw for around Manchester.

South Manchester period homes

Didsbury, Chorlton and Sale share the Victorian and Edwardian architecture we draw for daily in Birmingham: the same alcoves, the same picture rails, the same crooked walls. The houses are familiar; only the motorway is longer.

Altrincham and Hale

The Edwardian avenues south of the city bring principal bedrooms with real scale: room for a wall of wardrobes and a dressing room behind it. These are the briefs that travel best, because the whole scheme rides one van.

Stockport and the Heatons

Tall Victorian semis and solid four-beds around Heaton Moor and Heaton Mersey: alcoves, picture rails, and lofts converted for the fourth bedroom. Familiar puzzles, drawn with the same pencil.

The offer here

What we make
for Manchester.

Four kinds of room, one workshop. Fitted wardrobes are what most people come asking for; the making covers the whole bedroom.

Fitted wardrobes in Manchester

Usually the anchor of a larger scheme: a full wall in the principal bedroom, drawn at one survey, made in Birmingham, fitted in one planned visit. A single small alcove honestly may not justify the journey, and we say so early.

Walk-in wardrobes in Manchester

The brief that travels best. A Hale or Didsbury spare room becomes a dressing room with island drawers and proper light, and the whole build arrives finished on one van. Scope enough to make the distance irrelevant.

Bedroom furniture in Manchester

As part of a scheme, furniture comes into its own: bedsides, chests and a dressing table in the same finish as the run. A single bedside table cannot justify the M6, and we would rather say that than quote it badly.

Media walls in Manchester

Added to a bedroom or dressing-room project while the team is already there, a media wall shares the survey, the van and the fitting visit. Wired in the workshop, finished on site, one trip for the whole house.

From the workshop

Two hours, planned properly.

A North West project runs on planning rather than proximity. One survey trip, the making in Birmingham, then a single fitting visit of consecutive days with everything aboard. Fewer visits than a local firm might make, each one worth more.

The thresholdTell us about the room and we are straight with you about whether the scope justifies the travel, before anyone commits to anything.
The surveyOne booked trip. The room is measured completely, the brief agreed, and you get a real range before we point south again.
The makingEverything is built, sprayed, wired and checked in Birmingham, so the fitting visit contains no surprises and no waiting on deliveries.
FittingOur own fitters, consecutive days, one visit. The room is finished, scribed and swept before the van leaves Manchester.
The investment

What a Manchester room costs.

The same published guide prices apply everywhere we work: fitted bedrooms from £6k, a principal bedroom with a walk-in dressing room between £20k and £40k, where most of our commissions sit, and whole-floor schemes £40k to £80k, all including VAT. The survey turns the guide into one itemised number.

No teaser numbers, and nothing invented to get through the door. If the honest range does not fit, you hear it at the survey, not after it.

Twenty seconds. A real range.
A real range, not a sales call. Your details go nowhere else.
How it works here

One team, from survey
to swept floor.

We design your room, render it photo-realistically before anything is cut, make it in our own 6,000 sq ft Birmingham workshop, and fit it ourselves. Nothing outsourced. Not one part of it.

The visit

A designer surveys your room in Manchester: every wall, floor and ceiling. You get a real range, not a teaser number.

The render

You see the finished room in your own space before anything is cut. Change your mind freely at the drawing stage; it costs you nothing.

The room

Made in Birmingham, fitted by the people who made it, scribed to your walls until the joins disappear.

Asked around Manchester

Local questions, straight answers.

Will you take my project?

Tell us about the room and we will be straight with you. Larger schemes and multi-room projects travel well; a single small alcove honestly may not, and we will say so rather than quote it badly. Either way you get an answer within one working day.

What scope usually justifies the travel?

As a rule of thumb, principal-suite territory upwards: a full wall of wardrobes with a dressing room, or several rooms drawn as one scheme. Our published tiers put that at £20k to £40k and beyond, and the survey turns the tier into an exact itemised number.

Who actually fits the furniture in Manchester?

The same people who made it. Our own fitters travel up with the furniture and stay until the room is finished. We do not hand northern projects to a local crew we have never met, because the fit is where bespoke succeeds or fails.

How do we see the design before committing?

The same way every client does: your room is surveyed, drawn and rendered photo-realistically before anything is cut, and you change whatever you like at the drawing stage for nothing. Distance changes the diary, never the process.

Do you cover Cheshire as well as Manchester?

Yes, and Cheshire has a page of its own here. Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Knutsford and the villages run on the same by-arrangement footing, and the M56 corridor often suits the scheduling better than the city does.

Where we fit

Across Manchester and around it.

Fitted wardrobes, walk-in dressing rooms, bedroom furniture and media walls, surveyed and fitted in Didsbury, Chorlton, Sale, Altrincham, Hale, Stockport and Heaton Moor. One workshop makes all of it, and the same team fits it.

Your Manchester
room, drawn properly.

Three questions, then a designer reads it personally and replies within one working day. With an honest view either way.
