Fully bespoke
Fitted wardrobes
in Sutton Coldfield.
Full-height wardrobes drawn to Edwardian proportions, alcove runs scribed to walls a century out of true, dressing rooms with real scale. Sutton’s houses take bedrooms seriously, and the furniture we make for them holds the same standard.
Book a free design visitSutton’s houses were built by people who took bedrooms seriously. A century on, the furniture should hold the same standard: full height, drawn to the cornice line, scribed to walls that have had a hundred years to move.
Built, filmed, reviewed.
A passing glance at the work: films from fitting days, rooms as installed, and words we did not write ourselves. The full wall lives on the projects page.

Great quality and service from start to finish and quicker than expected!

Interiors, up close
Built for
Sutton Coldfield’s rooms.
Bespoke only earns its name if it answers the actual housing stock. These are the rooms we draw for around Sutton Coldfield.
Four Oaks villas
The conservation-area houses around Four Oaks Park bring high ceilings, generous landings and original joinery worth deferring to. Wardrobes here are as much about proportion as storage: tall doors, quiet lines, the cornice left to finish the room.
Interwar Boldmere and Wylde Green
Bay fronts, paired alcoves, picture rails, and lofts steadily converted into the fourth bedroom. The alcove run is drawn to the rail line; the loft gets doors cut to the actual pitch rather than propped into the angle.
Streetly and Little Aston
The executive belt on the park’s west side deals in scale: principal suites with room for a true walk-in, bathrooms and bedrooms rebuilt together, briefs that arrive as a whole floor. This is where our largest schemes tend to live.
Walmley family homes
Newer streets, cleaner walls, standard heights, and the same pressure on storage every family knows. Full-height fitted runs with planned interiors do more here than another chest of drawers ever will.
What we make
for Sutton Coldfield.
Four kinds of room, one workshop. Fitted wardrobes are what most people come asking for; the making covers the whole bedroom.
Fitted wardrobes in Sutton Coldfield
In the villas the run goes alcove to alcove around the chimney breast, full height under three-metre ceilings. In the semis it steps around the bay and keeps the picture rail. Either way it is measured twice and made once, in Birmingham.
Walk-in wardrobes in Sutton Coldfield
Little Aston and Four Oaks principal suites have the square footage for a dressing room with an island; elsewhere the converted fourth bedroom does the job. Drawn around your wardrobe as it actually is, not a brochure’s idea of it.
Bedroom furniture in Sutton Coldfield
Freestanding-in-feel pieces made to the room’s period: a dressing table in the bay where the light is, bedsides matched to the run, a blanket chest that was measured for the foot of your bed rather than found for it.
Media walls in Sutton Coldfield
Around Mere Green and the newer closes the lounge wall goes bespoke: screen recessed, cables routed inside the carcass, shelves lit low for the evening. Built as furniture, wired like a room.
Across the city, without drama.
Sutton is the far corner of our home city. The van crosses Birmingham to reach you, so we plan the diary around the A38 rather than pretending it away. Once we arrive nothing changes: same fitters, same standards, same swept floor at the end of the day.
What a Sutton Coldfield room costs.
The same published guide prices apply everywhere we work: fitted bedrooms from £6k, a principal bedroom with a walk-in dressing room between £20k and £40k, where most of our commissions sit, and whole-floor schemes £40k to £80k, all including VAT. The survey turns the guide into one itemised number.
No teaser numbers, and nothing invented to get through the door. If the honest range does not fit, you hear it at the survey, not after it.
One team, from survey
to swept floor.
We design your room, render it photo-realistically before anything is cut, make it in our own 6,000 sq ft Birmingham workshop, and fit it ourselves. Nothing outsourced. Not one part of it.
A designer surveys your room in Sutton Coldfield: every wall, floor and ceiling. You get a real range, not a teaser number.
You see the finished room in your own space before anything is cut. Change your mind freely at the drawing stage; it costs you nothing.
Made in Birmingham, fitted by the people who made it, scribed to your walls until the joins disappear.
I ordered some handles for my wardrobe from here and noticed a small part was missing on opening. I emailed them about this and their customer service was brilliant. Alex the Operations Manager handled my query and dealt with this…

Amazing service from start to finish. Delivery came on time and when the smallest of defects on a worktop was noticed, it was replaced immediately without any issues. Fitting was superb and efficient.
From the very first consultation to the final touches, Rooz has been nothing short of phenomenal. All of his team that worked on my project has been truly outstanding, it has transformed into something beyond my expectations…
Fabulous service with a smile. Quick initial survey, appointment to discuss plan which was even quicker, great 3D rendering to show new kitchen design.
These guys were recommended by our builder, and honestly, what a good decision! The quality and finish of their products are great, and any issues were rapidly rectified. Add to that the friendly warm service from the team, and you can’t lose!
I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with Posh Design to create custom furniture for my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.
Local questions, straight answers.
How soon can you survey in Sutton Coldfield?
We are close, so scheduling is straightforward: tell us your situation when you enquire and we will be honest about the diary. Surveys are booked to an agreed slot, and a designer replies to every enquiry within one working day.
What would a Sutton project cost?
Honestly, in public: fitted bedrooms start from £6k including VAT, a principal suite with a walk-in dressing room runs £20k to £40k, and whole-floor schemes £40k to £80k. The Four Oaks and Little Aston briefs often sit in the upper tiers because the rooms themselves are bigger.
We are in the Four Oaks conservation area. Does that affect fitted furniture?
Conservation rules mostly govern the outside of the house. Inside, we still behave as if the architecture is in charge: furniture drawn to the original proportions, fixings kept reversible where the fabric deserves it, cornices and rails untouched.
Can you fit wardrobes in our loft conversion?
Yes, and interwar Sutton lofts are a familiar shape. Doors are made to your measured pitch, not an off-the-shelf angle, and the eaves turn into drawers and deep hanging instead of a crawl space you never open.
Do you cover Streetly and Little Aston?
Yes. The park’s west side is part of the same patch, county line or not. Survey, making and fitting are handled exactly as they are anywhere else on home ground.
Across Sutton Coldfield and around it.
Fitted wardrobes, walk-in dressing rooms, bedroom furniture and media walls, surveyed and fitted in Four Oaks, Mere Green, Boldmere, Wylde Green, Walmley, Streetly, Little Aston and Maney. One workshop makes all of it, and the same team fits it.
